Why a plant-based food blog, and what you will find here?
Many years ago, after diving into videos and articles about livestock, processed foods, and the food industry, I went vegan overnight. Though I wasn’t a much of a meat-eater, traveling for work as a vegan made finding healthy, appetizing meals nearly impossible. To address this, I began creating my own nutritious plant-based recipes to take on the go, which drew the attention and requests for recipes of many. Believing nutritious food is vital for health and longevity, I was inspired to share my creations.
VIVA LA RECIPE! was launched to offer satisfying plant-based recipes and helpful information for everyone. Each recipe is naturally gluten-free, whole-food plant-based, minimally processed, nutrient-rich, and, most importantly, delicious. The hope is to inspire people to embrace wholesome recipes that they’ll love making for themselves and their families forever!
